We have come a long way since I started CBS in 1983 as the pioneer in the business of outsourcing bankruptcy recovery. Some things have changed dramatically. Today, for example, we use the Internet to exchange information with the Bankruptcy Courts and Trustees, file Proofs of Claim and transmit data to our creditor clients.

But some things have not changed. In order to provide the best possible return for our clients we must still keep up with the individual procedures and practices of the more than 300 bankruptcy courts and thousands of trustees as well as changes in the bankruptcy law. Even with today’s new technology the work is more complex and exacting, but we have put together an exceptional organization. Many of our staff members have been with our firm for over 15 years, which makes it possible for us to stay in front of the numerous and frequent changes in bankruptcy administration and technology.

We appreciate our clients, many of which have been with us for 20 years, for their confidence in CBS. Looking to the future, we anticipate serving more and more credit grantors from all sectors of the economy.
